Meet Edmundo – Founder & Piano Instructor at Piano Mundo 🎹 Edmundo is the heart and soul behind Piano Mundo Co. in Schertz, TX. With over 25 years of piano teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, Edmundo is dedicated to sharing the joy of music with students of all ages and backgrounds. As the sole teacher and owner, he’s built a reputation as the area’s best piano instructor—offering personalized, one-on-one lessons in a beautiful home studio designed to inspire. Edmundo’s teaching philosophy centers on nurturing each student’s unique abilities and fostering a lifelong love for music. He specializes in working with beginners and young students, creating customized curricula that make every lesson engaging, supportive, and fun. His students benefit from free access to a curated library of study materials and the encouragement to participate in recitals and community music events. With a warm, encouraging approach and a true passion for music education, Edmundo’s motto says it all: “Bringing Music to Life.” He’s here to help every student discover their own musical voice—one note at a time.
Meet Your Teacher: Louis San Miguel 🎹 Louis San Miguel is a dedicated pianist and nature educator from San Antonio whose musical journey began in the most inspiring way—a dream! After waking from a dream about playing piano, Louis went out, bought his first keyboard, and started learning the music from his favorite childhood video games. That spark of curiosity led him to his first teacher, Glendora Garza of Ivory Touch Piano Studio. Driven by passion and a love for music, Louis quickly dove deeper into his studies, first at San Antonio College and now at St. Mary’s University, where he performs in the Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Combo. He’s also been featured on TPR, KRTU, and at the renowned Jazz’SAlive Festival. Louis believes music is a sacred art and a gift meant to be shared. He encourages students to embrace the challenges of learning, knowing that on the other side is the freedom to express who you truly are. Most importantly, he brings a playful, joyful spirit to every lesson—because how can you play music without being playful? 😄 At Piano Mundo, Louis is here to guide you on your own musical journey, whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level.
