Piano Mundo is a vibrant piano studio dedicated to “Bringing Music to Life” for students of all ages and backgrounds. Founded and operated by a teacher with a master’s degree in music performance and over 25 years of teaching experience, Piano Mundo’s story is rooted in a passion for sharing the joy, artistry, and discipline of piano music within the community. Since opening its doors, Piano Mundo has welcomed students Monday through Saturday, offering private lessons, camps, and ongoing musical inspiration in an environment that’s both elegant and welcoming.
Our Story
Piano Mundo was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to make the joy of piano music accessible, inspiring, and fun for everyone. Operating Monday through Saturday, our studio has become a welcoming space for aspiring pianists of all ages and skill levels.
From day one, Piano Mundo has stood out for its blend of elegance and energy. Our signature gold, black, and white branding—featuring a grand piano, flowing music staff, and the motto “Bringing Music to Life”—reflects our commitment to both classic artistry and lively creativity.
At Piano Mundo, we believe music is more than notes on a page; it’s a way to connect, express, and grow. Our lessons focus not only on reading and technique but also on rhythm, confidence, and the pure enjoyment of making music. We offer a range of programs, including our popular Summer Piano Camp, designed to nurture each student’s unique musical journey.

Meet our Staff
Mundo
Founder and Techer
Edmundo is an experienced piano instructor with 25 years of teaching under his belt. He holds a master’s degree in fine arts and is a self-taught musician, staying current with new methods and trends through books and online resources rather than formal continuing education or certifications.
Mitzy
Teacher
Mitzi Ruttan is an accomplished music educator and multi-instrumentalist with over 40 years of teaching experience. She’s taught all ages, from preschoolers to adults, and is especially patient with beginners. Mitzi is Texas Teacher certified in Special Education and has worked with students of all abilities, including those with autism. Her lessons blend classical foundations with a love for all styles of music. We’re excited to have her inspiring students at Piano Mundo!
Louis
Teacher
Louis San Miguel is a valued teacher at Piano Mundo. Currently a student at St. Mary’s College, Louis brings 3 years of piano teaching experience to our studio. He steps in when needed to ensure students always have a seamless lesson experience. Louis is known for his supportive and friendly approach, making him a great fit for students of all ages. We’re glad to have Louis as part of our team!
